There are trains from Reading to Mortimer station which is the closest station to Wokefield Park and hence a much cheaper taxi fare. Please be aware that there are only 2 trains per hour from Reading to Mortimer. www.nationalrail.co.uk

Is anybody planning to travel from Heathrow to Wokefield on the morning of Thursday 16th? I would be interested to get in contact to explore if we can share taxi costs. Erwin
I'll be arriving early in the morning on Wednesday. Plan to spend the day reading and writing. Anyone else going to be around? Lunch? Dinner? Arriving at Heathrow @ 9am
I will arrive at London Gatwick the 15th around 19:40. What are the options to reach Wokefield Park?
Rather than taking a pre-booked car (taxi) you can catch a bus from Heathrow to Reading train station and take a taxi from there. The buses generally leave every 20 mins and cost £23 for a period return (£14 single) http://www.railair.com/timetables_monfri.php
